What is Vacuum Forming?

Vacuum forming is a process where a sheet of plastic is heated and stretched onto a mold, and forced against the mold by a vacuum. This process can be used to form plastic sheets into 3d objects such as masks and protective covers. Vacuum Forming is also known as Thermoforming or Desktop Vacuum Forming.
